It was a pleasure to photograph a recent graduation celebration in Oxford, capturing two graduates and their families as they marked such an important occasion together.
The session combined relaxed graduation portraits with natural family photographs, making the most of Oxford’s historic architecture and distinctive surroundings. Alongside the more traditional graduation photographs, I also focused on candid interactions and smaller moments between family members, creating a varied collection that reflected both the achievement and the atmosphere of the day.
My approach to Oxford graduation photography is relaxed and flexible, allowing plenty of time for individual portraits, photographs with family and friends, and wider images that incorporate the character of Oxford itself.

Newborn and Family Photography
It was a real pleasure to photograph this beautiful newborn family session, capturing those early days together and the natural connection between parents, baby and family.
The session combined relaxed newborn portraits with natural family photographs, focusing on genuine interaction rather than anything overly posed or staged. Alongside the more traditional portraits, I also captured the smaller moments — cuddles, tiny details and the quiet expressions that make this stage of family life so special.
My approach to newborn and family photography is calm, relaxed and flexible, allowing plenty of time for feeding, comforting and breaks whenever needed. The aim is to create natural, professional photographs that feel personal to your family and that you can look back on for years to come.
Ti Mikkel at Exeter College, Oxford
It was a pleasure to work with Oxford Writers’ House to photograph their In Conversation event with Ti Mikkel at Exeter College, Oxford.
Set within one of Oxford’s most distinctive venues, the event brought together writers, students and creatives for an afternoon of discussion and storytelling. My focus was on documenting the occasion naturally and unobtrusively, capturing the interaction between speaker and host, audience reactions and wider images that showcased the historic setting.
The result was a varied collection of professional event photography that captured both the atmosphere of the afternoon and the character of the venue.

Engine Race - Sports Event Photography in Aylesbury
I photographed ENGINE RACE by Fitness Blueprint at Berryfields in Aylesbury, capturing a fast-paced fitness competition bringing together athletes of different abilities for a challenging day of sport.
Throughout the event, I focused on the movement, determination and atmosphere of the competition, from rowing, skiing and functional workout stations to runners moving between challenges and the reactions at the finish line.
A combination of wider storytelling images and close-up action photography created a varied record of the day, capturing both the intensity of the competition and the community surrounding it.
Diwali Celebrations - Gerrards Cross
I had the pleasure of photographing the Diwali celebrations at Gerrards Cross Community Association, documenting an evening filled with colour, performance and community.
My approach was to capture the celebration as naturally as possible, from the energy of the dancers and vibrant traditional clothing to candid interactions between families, friends and guests. Working with the ambient and stage lighting also allowed me to retain the warmth and atmosphere of the occasion.
The finished gallery brought together performances, details, wider venue photographs and spontaneous moments to tell the story of the evening from beginning to end.

I photographed the Ares Judo Championships at High Wycombe Judo Centre, capturing a full day of competition involving judoka from across the region.
Sports photography is all about anticipating the action, and throughout the championship I focused on the decisive moments: explosive throws, close contests and expressions of concentration, alongside the reactions of coaches, teammates and families surrounding the mats.
The aim was not simply to photograph the competition itself, but to create a broader visual record of the day, combining dynamic action photography with the quieter moments and interactions that helped capture the atmosphere of the event.
Judo Championships - High Wycombe
Pegasus Pets Open Day - Whitchurch, Buckinghamshire
I worked with Pegasus Pets to photograph their Open Day at Manor Farm in Whitchurch, Buckinghamshire, capturing visitors, pets and the relaxed atmosphere throughout the event.
Alongside natural candid coverage, I also provided a mobile portrait studio, giving visitors the opportunity to have professional portraits created of their dogs during the day. This produced a varied gallery combining the wider story of the event with individual pet portraits and interactions between owners and their animals.
It was a great example of how event photography can combine documentary coverage with a tailored photography experience for guests.
Chearsley Vintage Car Show
I photographed the annual Chearsley Classic & Vintage Show at Chearsley Cricket Ground, capturing a diverse collection of classic cars, vintage vehicles, motorbikes and machinery alongside the people who brought the event to life.
My coverage combined wider views of the show with close-up details of the vehicles, candid photographs of owners and visitors, and moments from the wider entertainment taking place throughout the day.
The aim was to create a varied photographic record that captured not only the vehicles themselves, but also the character, nostalgia and community atmosphere surrounding the event.
Aylesbury Parkrun
I photographed a Saturday morning parkrun in Aylesbury, capturing runners of different ages and abilities taking part in the weekly community event.
Using a natural, documentary approach, I focused on the excitement at the start, the determination of runners around the course and the reactions as participants crossed the finish. Fast shutter speeds helped freeze the movement while wider photographs captured the atmosphere surrounding the event.
The resulting gallery combined action, candid moments and wider storytelling images to provide a natural record of the morning and the community behind it.
